Hon. BakabulindiCharles (MP)

Hon. Charles Bakkabulindi is a  Ugandan citizen born on 25th November 1959 in Rakai District. He  isthe current Minister of state for Education and Sports in charge of sports,  in the Uganda Cabinet, a position he has held since his appointment in 2005.

He is also a Member of  Parliament representing Workers and Chairperson Workers Caucus, Member of the  National Resistance Movement (NRM) and. "He  is an ardent advocate of total development of sports, as well as workers’  rights and welfare”.

Hon. Charles Bakkabulindi’s education background, working experience and achievements as an MP and Minister are detailed below:

2006 -  2008 - Masters  of Management Studies in Public Administration and Management, Uganda  Management Institute, Kampala

2006 - 2007 - Post Graduate Diploma in Public  Administration and Management, Uganda Management Institute, Kampala.

2003 - 2006 - Bachelor of Adult and Community  Education, Makerere University, Kampala

1983 - 1985 - Diploma  in Electrical and Electronic Engineering plus a Certificate of Proficiency in  English of complementary studies, Uganda Technical College Kyambogo.

1982 - 1983 - Uganda  Advanced Certificate of Education, Kololo High School Kampala

1975 -  1978 - Uganda  Certificate of Education, St. Mary's College Kisubi,Kampala
